Intake
For every new lab study, the principal investigator who wishes to use the SSH Labs should contact the SSH Lab Manager by email at labmanager-SSH@leidenuniv.nl. In addition to a brief description of the study, this email should include answers to the following questions:
- Name PI:
- Name head researcher:
- Faculty:
- Project name:
- Short project name (max 16 characters):
- Start date lab research:
- End date lab research:
- Estimate weekly hours:
- Needed equipment:
- Vulnarable research?:
- Ethical approval code (or under review):
- Are privacy, security and data management plan okay?:
- Additional notes:
Based on this information and after consultation with SSH Research and Lab Support, the Lab Manager schedules an intake meeting with the researcher and, depending on the research description, invites a colleague from SSH Research and Lab Support to attend the intake meeting. During this intake meeting, the most suitable labs and equipment are discussed, and support needs and availability are coordinated.
Note: An intake will only be scheduled after the researcher has submitted the ethical application to an ethics committee at Leiden University. Of course, it is possible to get in touch beforehand for help with research and/or lab support.
