Introduction

Pavlovia (pavlovia.org) is a platform for hosting, sharing and running online studies. Tasks for the platform can be built using any browser-compatible library, such as jsPsych, PsychoJs and lab.js. Additionally, the PsychoPy Builder provides a graphical user interface for generating Pavlovia compatible tasks.

SOLO currently has an unlimited-usage site-license for Pavlovia, and any accounts registered to @fsw.leidenuniv.nl, @umail.leidenuniv.nl, @fgga.leidenuniv.nl and @hum.leidenuniv.nl email addresses will automatically be granted access to the subscription.

Support and Advice

SOLO currently only provides limited basic support for Pavlovia, but recommends its usage for researchers with JavaScript or PsychoPy Builder experience. Given adequate programming prowess, the jsPsych and Pavlovia combination is a powerful and flexible environment for conducting online research.
